Police Band
There are trained police personnel in the police band squad. This police band squad is attached to Police Headquarters Palghar This police band is provided to citizens also at the rate of Rs 2000/- per hour. The police band is also provided to serving police officers as well as retired police officers and men for various auspicious, social & religious functions their dependant sisters, brothers, sons & daughters. The charges levied from police personnel are Rs. 1000/- per hour.
The conveyance charges for police band squad for journey from Police Headquarters to the place of function and back are Rs.100/-. The police band plays the music only at the place of function and does not take part in any procession.
The applications for availing of the police band are to be submitted to the Police Commissioner Solapur City at least 8 days prior to the date of function. No fees are charged for the application.
Note :The band even if sanctioned shall not be made available if the Law & Order situation arises suddenly & in such cases the whole Amount accepted shall be returned to the applicant.
